Rough Fish is a pervasive game in which players score points by fishing rubbish out of the canal and tweeting about it. Different types of rubbish will score different points throughout the day, so keep an eye on the online Rubbish Stock Market and the leaderboard to see if you can be the Rough Fish Champion 2016!

Rough Fish will be played 11am – 4pm on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of September 2016.

You can book to play one or both days via EventBrite and play for as long or as short as you like during the day.

Players will be given a specially designed Rough Fishing outfit, net and fishing kit, and will be inducted to the game at 11.00am and 1.30pm on both days. The game is played over Twitter, so you will need a smart phone with enough battery life and data to access Twitter while you play.

To book the game you need to be over 18. Rough Fisher players need spotters to help them find the most prized flotsam and jetsam, so family teams are welcome as long as fishing is done by an adult.
